With eference to your letter of the 19th

February, 1920, (No. Hong Kong 8/292(D.L.la)), I am

directed by Er. Secretary Amery to transmit to you,

for the consideration of the Army Council, the

accompanying copy of a despatch from the Governor of

Hong Kong, with regard to the proposed re-transfer

from the War Department to the Colonial Government of

"The Kowloon Peak Barrack Sites".

2. I am to enquire whether the Army Council

are now prepared to agree to the transfer proceeding

on the terms arranged in 1914.
